When installing some plesk packages on an ubuntu box it fails on plesk-billing
Setting up plesk-billing (7.0.1-20101029.05) ... Database created: billing_3885 Database user created: billing_3885 /var/lib/dpkg/info/plesk-billing.postinst: 707: /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun: not found Unable to create local database dpkg: error processing plesk-billing (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: plesk-billing E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
To fix do something like this:
# vi /var/lib/dpkg/info/plesk-billing.postinst change PLESK_DIR="/usr/local/psa" to: PLESK_DIR="/opt/psa"
But if that causes other issues then best to just do:
apt-get purge plesk-billing
and get rid of it all together.
