How to increase the website width

Changing the Mummy Blog website width from 980px to something larger is possible by making the following CSS adjustments in the style.css file:

eg: to inrease the website width by 300px then change: 

#wrapper {
width: 980px;

to

#wrapper {
width: 1280px;

and change

.width_695 {
width: 695px;
}

to

.width_695 {
width: 995px;
}

and change

#footer {
height: 48px;
width: 941px;

to

#footer {
height: 48px;
width: 1241px;

and change

.header_large .header {
height: 458px;
width: 980px;

to

.header_large .header {
height: 458px;
width: 1280px;

and change

#header_menu {
height: 48px;
width: 941px;

to

#header_menu {
height: 48px;
width: 1241px;

 

please note that provided background images such as:

http://mummy-blog-wordpress-theme.dtbaker.net/wp-content/themes/mummy_blog/images/headers/large/green_baby.png

and

http://mummy-blog-wordpress-theme.dtbaker.net/wp-content/themes/mummy_blog/images/menu_bg.png

are designed for a website 980px wide, these graphics will have to be re-created in order to fit the new website size.
